3. Product Information
• Truffles are natural, perishable, and seasonal products. Variations in size, shape, internal veining, or compactness are normal and do not constitute defects.
• Minor imperfections (wormholes, natural marks, less compact texture at the end of season) are considered normal and do not render the product defective or inedible.
• Product descriptions and photographs are provided for guidance only. We do not guarantee they are free from errors or perfectly up to date.

• All prices are listed in EUR, inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
• Prices and availability may change at any time without notice.
• We reserve the right to limit quantities or cancel orders at our sole discretion.

5. Orders and Payment
• By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase in accordance with these terms.
• Orders are subject to acceptance. We may refuse or cancel any order due to errors, unavailability, or suspected misuse.
• Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering. For fresh truffles, advance payment is mandatory. This is standard practice for perishable goods worldwide.

6. Shipping and Delivery
• Fresh truffles are harvested daily and shipped using specialized logistics to ensure freshness.
• Delivery times are estimates; we are not liable for courier delays or customs inspections.
• Risk of loss passes to the customer upon delivery at the agreed address.

7. Returns and Refunds
• Fresh truffles and all perishable goods are excluded from the EU right of withdrawal (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(c)). Once delivered, they are non-returnable and non-refundable.
• Complaints must follow the strict procedure:
• Sent within 24 hours of delivery to admin@houseoftartufo.com.
• Include photos of the whole truffle, the truffle cut in half, and the affected part on a scale with visible weight.
• The truffle must be kept intact until our confirmation. Destroyed or improperly documented products are not eligible.
• If validated, we will:
• Replace the defective weight immediately at our expense, OR
• Issue a credit note for the affected weight.
• ⚠️ Full refunds are never available for fresh truffles or perishable goods.
• Non-perishable goods (e.g., merchandise) may be returned within 30 days if unused and in original packaging.

• Claims of “not edible” must be supported by proper documentation under our complaint procedure.
